Bio 1. Name: Belle / Gadget Z (Gadget Z does not really have a personality and comes with Belle. I hope it is okay to have him along with her, kind of like Rahal with Flail.)
2. Star Position: Chikei (Belle), Chisyun (Gadget Z)
3. Game: Suikoden III
4. Age and Birthday: Belle's birthday is March 27th, IS 463. She is the same age as Cecile and Yun. Gadget Z's birthday was when Belle's mother was struck by lightning... literal lightning or the lightning of a good idea I do not know. He is the reborn frame of the original Gadget.
6. Personality: Belle is a busy and determined girl who absolutely loves gadgets. She spends much of her free time trying to perfect Gadget Z's mechanisms to make up for the increase in vulnerability her mother programed him to have (because he has increased offense, conversely his defense decreased). She tends to get so absorbed in her work that she'll forget where she is or who she's talking to, causing for some embarrassing situations. When she's around Viki and Mel, the three of them can be a dangerous group of giggly girls and tend to cause a lot of noise and problems. Her hobbies apart from working on Gadget Z include playing with metal, eating strawberry pie (and cheesecake and shortcake too!) and reading books (about technology and building things). Unfortunately, Belle tries to make her own gadgets but they never work (sometimes they end up disastrous).
Gadget Z does not have a distinct personality, although his messages to the comment box seem to indicate that sometimes Belle's "human" motives baffle him... either that or his circuitry can't comprehend them. He is frequently prone to explode and Belle often has to pester people like Chris or Geddoe to pay for the damages and repairs.
7. Weapons: Belle has a big hammer. It is maxed out to the Thunder Hammer.
Gadget Z has no known weapon that needs to be leveled up.
8. Occupation: Belle's star is the Suikoden trickster. She does not have enough skills to invent things that actually work or help others really, but maybe someday she will be useful.
Gadget Z's occupation is to be a robot...
9. Talents: Belle's greatest talent is her ability to change whatever Gadget Z says by tampering with his mental circuit. Gadget Z is the only invention she's really familiar with because they travel everywhere together. If making useless inventions that don't work is a talent, she can do that too. Sometimes she writes and poems about her inventions in her spare time.
Gadget Z is talented at his Gadget combo attack with Belle. Belle uses her watch to call on body armor in space. Gadget Z blasts up to it, becoming its battery. The armor changes into a fighting machine, which blasts a beam at all enemies for normal damage. Gadget Z falls back to the battlefield with 1 Hit Point left... actually, that doesn't sound very talented at all.
He also has a combination attack with Bright. Gadget Z blasts off into his body armor, sending a huge energy blast down towards Bright. Bright sends a blast of flame upward towards Gadget Z at the same time. The two shots collide, causing an explosion that hits all enemies and allies with fire damage. Gadget Z and Bright are stunned afterwards, which is better than having only one hp point left.
10. Runes: Belle has the Comet Rune permanently attached to her. "1.5x damage to all enemies. Belle becomes unbalanced."
Gadget Z has the Gadget Rune permanently attached to him. "0.4x dmg to foes. User loses balance and 50% of hp." It sounds like kind of a lousy rune.
11. Weaknesses: Belle has many weaknesses. She has a big crush on Hugo, which makes her embarrassed and very suspicious of other people around him, like Aila. She also sometimes ignores people because she'll be so busy working. She is kind of a freeloader too because she keeps asking Geddoe and Chris to pay for the repairs to Gadget Z. When her inventions don't work or go wrong, sometimes she throws a fit.
Gadget Z's primary physical weakness is his low defense. As he is a machine, he really doesn't have any programmed weaknesses, but maybe not being human is the biggest weakness of all.
12. History Once upon a time, there was a gadget master, and she had a daughter, who was Belle. Her mother made Gadget, but one day she was struck by lightning and decided to make Gadget Z, improving his offensive abilities at the expense of defense. He was made of nice smelling cypress wood.
Then one day Belle's mother ran away. We don't know why. It could be she did something illegal, or maybe she was kidnapped because what kind of mother would leave their daughter all alone with her newest invention?
Belle took Gadget Z and set off on and adventure to find her missing mother. The two bonded, and by bonded I mean Gadget Z is the only invention Belle can successfully (sometimes) work on. One day a very vital screw fell out onto the Amur Plains, and Belle was stuck at Brass Castle, trying to figure out what was wrong with Gadget Z and where the screw was left. She sat by the shops hammering on Gadget Z all day and night, and many of the townspeople were really angry at her for disturbing the peace, but she insisted that if she moved Gadget Z, he'd explode! This convinced them to leave her alone to work in peace.
One day, a young Karayan boy who was the hero of the Firebringer, Hugo, approached her because she was making so much noise, and she blurted out to him that she loved strawberry pie, playing with metal, and reading books. When Hugo found out it was a screw on Amur Plains she was missing, he went and retrieved it, and when he gave her the missing screw he found on Amur Plains, Belle became even more smitten. After all, Hugo is a pretty handsome guy, and he didn't say anything mean about her work! He asked if she wanted to join the Firebringer (of course she said yes). Hugo was fascinated by Gadget Z because he is a talking barrel, but when Gadget Z got up and working, he began to compliment Belle in a very embarrassing way. She was so flustered that she ran on ahead to Budehuc and promised to meet him there.
Belle enjoyed staying at Budehuc very much and often commented that it was a very beautiful place. She admired Hugo for his leadership and kindness, and the longer she stayed there the more she liked him. She even had dreams about him! She would leave messages asking if he wanted to go to the field behind the stable, and even programmed Gadget Z to leave notes in the comment box for him (this she denies, and Gadget Z does not understand her motivation).
After the war, Belle was determined to chase down her missing mother and become a true Gadget Master--it also took her mind off Hugo leaving to become the chief of Karaya Village. After wandering around for years, unsuccessful at locating her mother and becoming the Gadget Master she wished to be, she is depressed and looks to return to Budehuc Castle for some comforting nostalgia and perhaps see if her old friends Viki and Mel (she won't get her hopes up about Hugo) are there.
